A new photography course begins our Unaccompanied Minors' Shelters, under the guidance of photographer Christina Vazou.

First stop, the history of the camera.
Through an interactive journey, the teenage boys discover basic visual issues through a paper camera obscura and then, through personal exploration, they learn how to use better the cameras of their mobile phones.

Like every year, this year, the children hosted in our Shelters had the opportunity to visit museums and archeological sites in their area. The teenage guests of the "Nefeli 2" Shelter, "climbed" the rock of Acropolis, while in the previous days they took part in a course dedicated to the history and the evolution of the monuments we see today at the site.

The mission of our organization, transported and delivered surgical and medical equipment to the Odessa Regional Hospital.

The aim of the mission was the delivery of humanitarian aid directly to the beneficiaries, the direct contact with the Municipal authorities, the Consulate General of Greece in Odessa, other agencies, and humanitarian organizations.

Due to transit problems at the Leuseni border station in Moldova and the curfew in Ukraine at night, the mission was forced to spend the night in the dead zone between the two countries and arrived in Odesa on the morning of May 6, 2022.

A group of teenagers - and not only- proves that the collective offer and the feeling of solidarity will not be easily lost.

"Vivlioplio" team showed its love once again by offering clothes for the boys who live in the Unaccompanied Minors Shelters of Kinoniko EKAB. "Vivlioplio" was an idea of the teenage student Orestis Mikelakis, who started last year in the middle of quarantine, when he began cleaning his library. He wanted to donate these books and with the encouragement of his uncle, he learned about a similar action in Crete. So he decided to create the group "Vivlioplio", in collaboration with friends and classmates.

On the occasion of the World Cultural Heritage Day, our shelter - "Kallisti 3" - participated in the 'Walk' organized by the Youth Council of the Municipality of Larissa, in the historic center of the city. This is a tour, which contained stops at the important cultural points of interest of the city, where young people were informed about them by the archaeologist Lina Mousioni.
