On the occasion of a workshop, in which the children of "Nefeli 2" Shelter created real size figures of themselves, the opportunity was born for a discussion around the word "Stereotypes". Everything started when one of the boys wrote the phrase: do not care about #stereotypes, on his creation.

The teachers seized the opportunity to analyze the concept of stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination, through experiential activities. Together we entered into a beautiful dialogue and realized that overgeneralization can lead to violent and unjust behaviors. In addition, we realized that stereotypes lead to social categorization, the marginalization of individuals, and the development of misconceptions that prevent us from listening to the diverse society in which we live.
