Greek Language & Legal Rights Courses for Refugee and Migrant Women, with Employment Support

12 October – 11 December 2026

Kinoniko EKAV, as part of the European project EmpowerHER, is organising basic Greek language and legal rights courses for refugee and migrant women who have experienced human trafficking or face other forms of vulnerability (including a history of abuse, domestic violence, trafficking, persecution in their country of origin, labour exploitation, etc.).

Following the completion of the courses, participants will also have access to mentoring and support in their job search.

Key information about the courses:

  • Course dates: 12 October – 11 December 2026
  • Days & hours: Monday – Wednesday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Duration: 48 hours of Greek language lessons and 6 hours of legal rights training
  • Teaching: Classes will be delivered by an experienced educator specializing in working with refugee populations. Appropriate educational materials will be provided for beginners, as well as for more advanced learners should the need arise
