Today we would like to talk to you about "Vivlioplio"!

A group of teenagers - and not only- proves that the collective offer and the feeling of solidarity will not be easily lost.

"Vivlioplio" team showed its love once again by offering clothes for the boys who live in the Unaccompanied Minors Shelters of Kinoniko EKAB. "Vivlioplio" was an idea of the teenage student Orestis Mikelakis, who started last year in the middle of quarantine, when he began cleaning his library. He wanted to donate these books and with the encouragement of his uncle, he learned about a similar action in Crete. So he decided to create the group "Vivlioplio", in collaboration with friends and classmates.

Orestis with his brother and his classmates Eva, Eleftheria, Maria, Dimitra and Iason, were the first members of the team, who also collected the first books. To support their donation, the children turned to bookstores and publishing foundations, writers, and other people, growing their team - Vivliostyl, Kedros Publications - Kedros Publishers, CLC Educational Foundation, Xyndaraki, etc-. Everyone now contributes in their own way to the actions of "Vivlioplio", which no longer only donates books, but is always ready to cover the needs of people in need. Thus began the relationship of Kinoniko EKAV with "Vivlioplio", when Orestis and the other volunteers desided to support us. From last summer until today, "Vivlioplio" has offered to the unaccompanied minor refugees of our organization, books, clothing, and stationery and is constantly by our side with love and devotion.

A thank you is a small word for the solidarity actions of "Vivlioplio"! We are happy to have you by our side and proud that such a beautiful idea was an initiative of teenage students who are ready to prove that they can make the world a better place for every human being!
