Creative Encounters, Moments of Coexistence
The Unaccompanied Minor Refugee Shelter “Kallisti 3”, operated by the humanitarian organization Kinoniko EKAV in Larissa for the past four years, is once again participating in the 2025 Pineios Festival.
This year, the unaccompanied minor refugees, together with the staff of the shelter, have designed and are presenting a series of activities aimed at sharing moments from their daily lives with festival visitors and opening a meaningful intercultural dialogue with the local community.

Thursday, June 19
Our Music… Communicating Through Soul and Body

Live presentation of original songs composed by the teenage residents during music composition and music technology workshops held at the shelter.

Mixtape featuring songs from around the world.

Friday, June 20
Our Images – Our Words – Our Games

My City – My Home: An artistic video created during photography and video workshops, exploring the daily lives of the teenagers at the shelter.

Moments: A video-photographic collage of memories from activities, gatherings, and simple daily moments of the refugee children.

“Children’s Paths in Times of War”: Kinoniko EKAV’s book, composed of personal stories of refugee children, will be presented with new illustrations created through AI art workshops, in which the children from “Kallisti 3” participated. Both the stories and illustrations will be available to visitors at our booth.
