Painting Skills Training Seminars for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees

A Kinoniko EKAV initiative for youth empowerment and professional integration

With the goal of offering meaningful support to the unaccompanied minor refugees living in its accommodation facilities, Kinoniko EKAV has launched educational seminars on painting and decorating (interior wall painting). This initiative is part of a broader effort to develop vocational skills and promote the social inclusion and employment of these young people as they reach adulthood.

The idea behind the initiative is simple yet powerful: to equip these teenagers with practical tools so that, upon reaching adulthood, they can stand on their own with confidence and independence. By teaching them practical and useful skills, we give them the opportunity to plan their futures with greater security and perspective.

The seminars run for a two-month period and are carried out in collaboration with the DIMITRA Educational Organization, which will provide certificates of participation to all attendees.

Guided by the values of solidarity and empowermentKinoniko EKAV continues to invest in education as a driver for integration, creating real opportunities for the refugee children it hosts.
The Accommodation Centers for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees operate with the co-funding of the European Union and national resources, through the Asylum and Migration Fund 2021–2027.
